This article will focus on how to utilize our Receipt and Unique String field on WebForms.

How to access the Unique String field on your WebForm

You will first click the WebForm you want to access from your Forms Manager so that you can open up the WebForm Builder. Under Form Elements, you will scroll down to Specialty Tools and the first option will be Unique String.

Unique String

The Unique String option allows you to create a unique alphanumeric identifier to your submissions.

You can edit the Unique String field settings by clicking the gears icon to open the inspector. In the inspector, you will have the option to choose whether or not to show the label, adjust the label alignment, include a unique prefix and determine how many characters you want the field to populate.

How to access the Receipt field on your WebForm

You will first click the WebForm you want to access from your Forms Manager so that you can open up the WebForm Builder. Under Form Elements, you will scroll down to Specialty Tools and one of the last options will be Receipt.

Receipt

The Receipt option allows you to create a unique identifying number with a customizable prefix or suffix enabling each submission to be tracked.

You can edit the Receipt field settings by clicking the gears icon to open the inspector. In the inspector, you will have the option to include a hover text, a custom Thank You Page Message that will include the Receipt number for the applicant, adjust the start # for the Receipt and include a unique prefix, prefix separator, suffix and suffix separator.
